Custom fundraising websites for US schools

Your School Deserves Its Own Fundraising Platform.

We build custom fundraising websites for schools, giving you complete control over your campaigns, donor information and fundraising history.

Your domain. Your branding. Your Stripe account. Your donations.

No donation commissions. No third-party marketplace. Your school stays in control.

  • Your own domain

  • Donations straight to you

Paid into your school’s own Stripe account.

  • Your donor records

The problem

Stop Building Your Fundraising History on Someone Else’s Platform.

Schools raise money in the places that are easiest to reach today: social posts, email chains and shared fundraising sites. They work for a moment. But your school deserves something that lasts.

Posts disappear into the feed

A Facebook post is seen for a day or two, then buried under everything else. Families who missed it have nowhere to go back to.

Someone else shapes the experience

On a third-party platform, your campaign sits inside their design, their navigation and often their branding, not your school’s.

Donor relationships can slip away

Depending on the platform, your school may not keep full, easy access to the records of the people who support it.

No permanent home for giving

Each year starts from scratch. There is no single place that shows families what your community has built together.

Your school needs a permanent fundraising presence: one address families remember, with every campaign, update and gift kept in one place, owned by you.

The solution

A Fundraising Website That Belongs to Your School.

We build your school a complete fundraising website, customized to your community and connected to your own accounts. Here’s what comes with it.

Custom branded school website

Your name, logo, colors and voice on every page, on your own domain, so families know it is really you.

Campaign management

Launch as many campaigns as you need, from classroom projects to building funds, each with its own page and goal.

Direct Stripe donations

Secure checkout through Stripe, with gifts paid straight into your school’s own Stripe account.

Donor records & CSV exports

Every donation is recorded in your dashboard. Search, filter and export to a spreadsheet whenever you like.

Fundraising progress tracking

Live progress bars, milestones and stretch goals show supporters exactly how close you are.

Stories, media & updates

Tell the story with photos, video and regular updates, so donors see what their gift made possible.

Ownership

What Changes When Your School Owns the Website.

Shared fundraising platforms can be convenient. A website your school owns gives you control over the things that matter long term.

  • School branding

Typical third-party: Your campaign sits inside the platform’s design and navigation, often next to its own branding.

RaiseKit: Built around your school’s name, colors, logo and voice on every page and receipt.

  • Custom domain

Typical third-party: Campaign links usually live on the platform’s web address.

RaiseKit: Runs on your own address, like fund.yourschool.org or giving.yourschool.org.

  • Donor data ownership

Typical third-party: Donor records are held in the platform’s systems, under its terms and export options.

RaiseKit: Donor records live in your school’s installation. Export everything to CSV whenever you like.

  • Donation processing

Typical third-party: Funds may pass through the platform before payouts reach the school.

RaiseKit: Donations are paid straight into your school’s own Stripe account.

  • Platform commission

Typical third-party: Some platforms take a percentage of each gift or prompt donors for “tips”.

RaiseKit: RaiseKit takes zero percentage of donations. Stripe’s standard processing fees still apply.

  • Long-term history

Typical third-party: Past campaigns can be archived, hidden or lost if you change platforms.

RaiseKit: Every campaign, update and gift stays on your site, building a permanent record year after year.

Every fundraising platform works differently. Review the terms of any service you use; this table describes common arrangements, not any specific company.

FAQ

Questions Schools Ask Us.

Don’t see your question? Mention it in your quote request and we’ll answer it personally.

Get a Quote

Does our school own its website?

Yes. Your school owns its installation: the website on your domain, your content, your campaigns, your donor records and your donation history. RaiseKit builds each site on our own reusable base system, which we license to you as part of the project. The details are set out in your client agreement before any work starts.

Can we use our own domain?

Yes, and we recommend it. Most schools use a subdomain of their existing website, such as fund.yourschool.org or giving.yourschool.org. We handle the DNS setup with whoever manages your school’s domain.

Where do donations go?

Straight to your school’s own Stripe account. Donors pay through Stripe’s secure checkout and the money is deposited into the bank account your school connects to Stripe. RaiseKit never holds or touches donation funds.

Does RaiseKit charge donation commissions?

No. RaiseKit takes zero percentage of donations. We charge a one-time fee to build and set up your website, plus optional fees for hosting or extra modules if you choose them. Stripe charges its standard card processing fees, which are paid to Stripe, not to us.

Do we need our own Stripe account?

Yes. Your school, PTA, PTO or booster club creates its own Stripe account in its own name. We help you through the setup and connect it to your website, so every donation is paid directly to you.

Can our staff manage campaigns?

Yes. Your website includes an administration dashboard where your team can create and edit campaigns, write updates, upload photos, track progress toward goals, view donations and export donor records to CSV. No technical skills are needed.

Can we host the website ourselves?

Yes. Hosting is optional. If your school or district has its own hosting or IT team, we can deploy your website there and hand over everything needed to run it.

Can RaiseKit manage hosting?

Yes. Our optional Managed Hosting service covers hosting, SSL, deployments, backups, basic monitoring and technical maintenance for a recurring fee. You can cancel and move your website to independent hosting later.

Can you customize the portal?

Yes. Every school gets its own customized installation: your branding, your campaign structure and your content. If you need functionality beyond the standard portal, such as an extra module or integration, we quote that work separately.

How long does development take?

It depends on the scope you need. A standard branded portal can usually be ready in a few weeks once we have your branding, content and Stripe account. We confirm a timeline in your proposal, and Stripe verification or domain access on your side can affect it.
