Who we are

RaiseKit (“we”, “us”) is a software development service that builds custom fundraising websites for individual schools and school organizations. This policy covers this marketing website, getraisekit.com, and the quote requests submitted through it.

It does not cover the fundraising websites we build for schools. See “School client websites and donor data” below.

What information the quote form collects

When you request a quote, we collect:

• Your full name
• Your school or organization name
• Your work email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
• The service you’re interested in
• Any project description you choose to write

To protect the form from spam and abuse, we also record a one-way hashed (non-reversible) version of the IP address the request came from, and the date and time of submission. We do not store your raw IP address with your request.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry, understand your requirements, prepare a proposal and communicate with you about a potential project. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing mailing lists without your permission.

How inquiries are handled

Quote requests are stored in a private database hosted by Cloudflare and are accessible only to RaiseKit staff through a protected internal tool. When a request is submitted, we send you a confirmation email at the address you entered, and an email notification containing your details is sent to RaiseKit’s business inbox. Both are delivered through our email delivery provider (Resend). Our service providers process this information on our behalf to run the website and deliver email.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as needed to discuss and deliver a potential project, and generally for no more than 24 months after our last contact with you unless you become a client. Information about clients is retained as set out in the client agreement.

Your choices: access and deletion

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.

Cookies and analytics

This marketing website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may process technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

School client websites and donor data

The fundraising websites we build belong to the schools and organizations we build them for. Donor records, donation information and other data on a school’s website belong to that school and are handled according to the applicable client agreement and the school’s own policies. Donations are processed by the school’s own Stripe account under Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.

RaiseKit’s own quote requests, described in this policy, are kept separately from any school’s donor records.

Children’s information

This website is intended for adults acting on behalf of schools and organizations. The quote form is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
